The 3rd Annual Warren Community Electronic/Appliance Recycling and Shred Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 6th, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at Warren Central High School, 9500 East 16th Street. Start cleaning out those old receipts, checkbooks, and sensitive documents! Hoosier Shred will shred your old documents and Greenwave Recycling will collect appliances, tvs and computers. This event is sponsored by MSD Warren Township and is free to the public.
Greenwave Recycling will accept computers, tvs, stereos, household applicances, batteries, vacuum cleaners, cell phones, cameras, CRT monitors, and many more items. They do not accept items such as paint, electric lamps, light bulbs, mercury-containing devices, tin and aluminum cans. Hoosier Shred will take paper documents, applications, etc; magazines/newspapers; file folders; card stock; papers attached with staples or paperclips. They do not accept plastic/cardboard binders, heavy cardboard, bound books, or metal spiral bound notebooks. Again contact Linda Wise to clarify a particular item.
You will want to enter the high school parking lot from the east entrance off of 16th Street (closer to Mitthoeffer Road).
